Officials said fire victims may also ask for relief from penalties and/or interest for some taxes and fees, or to request replacement copies of records that were lost or damaged in the fire.

“We want to offer help to businesses that were seriously affected by the Blue Cut Fire,” said BOE Vice Chair Diane L. Harkey. “Our offices are here to discuss their options on filing extensions and waiving of interest and penalties.”
