Valley mayors and tribal leaders discuss city progress

The greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce hosted the first All Valley Mayors and Tribal Leadership Luncheon this afternoon. All nine Coachella Valley mayors, as well as tribal chairmen shared the stage at today’s luncheon. Each leader gave updates on economic activity and future development plans. Public safety and homelessness were popular topics, as all cities in the Valley are working on improving those areas. The city leaders are hoping to make this an annual luncheon. Mayor Linda Evans of La Quinta said, “It was very enjoyable. We got a long great, and it’s just a testament to the fact that we’re here to serve our residents and each other, because all tides rise to the benefit of the Valley.”
