Blood Drive to honor fallen Palm Springs officers

LifeStream blood bank is holding several “in memoriam” blood drives this week in honor of Officers Vega and Zerebny.

All drives were previously scheduled; however, due to the tragic events of last week the focus now is on the loved ones of those who recently lost their lives in the line of duty.

Local residents can make a meaningful, lasting gesture in honor of Officers Vega and Zerebny by making a life-saving blood donation to assist others in need.

LifeStream will contribute $10 toward assisting the families on behalf of each blood donor at the following locations:

Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cal State San Bernardino (Palm Desert campus) 37500 Cook St.
