Chef Herve Glin talks about the 12th annual Chef’s Auction

Chef Herve Glin explains what the Pendleton Foundation is all about and shares more about their upcoming fundraiser.

The Pendleton Foundation helps to meet the financial needs of Coachella Valley residents suffering from cancer. Karen Pendleton, the foundation’s namesake, was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma peritonei, a highly aggressive form of colon cancer. The Pendletons, along with help from Glin started the first Chef’s auction 12 years ago to raise money for the foundation.

This year’s auction takes place on Nov. 10 at the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The evening includes a reception, dinner and chef’s auction. Winning bids will have one of the Coachella Valley’s most spectacular chefs cook a private meal for 8, at either the patron’s home or the chef’s restaurant.
