Trauma Surgeon updates conditions of patients brought to Desert Regional Medical Center

Desert Regional Medical Center held a news conference at 2:30 p.m. to update the latest details of the patients brought in from a deadly tour bus crash Sunday morning.

According to Dr. Ricard Townsend, from Desert Regional Medical Center, “it seems most victims were unrestrained and flew through the air.”

“Seven patients out of the 14 taken to Desert have been released,” says Townsend. “Five of the patients remain in critical condition.”
