Palm Springs Comic Con

It was characters galore at Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs. The second comic convention of the year is underway and Saturday marked day one of the weekend long event. It’s one of Land of the Losts most famous scenes, and now the original cast rowed their way out to Palm Springs Comic Con. Palm Springs local, Wesely Eure says living in Palm Springs has been a dream. “I was lucky I got a star on the boulevard a few years ago, and it’s been an honor. I love this town…and this Comic Con is amazing because there’s so many costumes. I haven’t seen that many people in costume in a long time,” Eure said. Today’s Palm Springs Comic Con comes three months after the similarly named Comic Con Palm Springs. “People have said why do we need two comic conventions, but there’s so many music festivals that happen out here, and I don’t hear anyone complain about that.” The people we spoke to attended both comic conventions. “This one I like a little better, it’s more chill. I like the comic cons that focus on cos play more than celebrities and stuff,” said one comic con goer.
