Shoppers pass on Thanksgiving dinner, go shopping
While many people took time to appreciate what they are grateful for, many shoppers said they are grateful for what they can get.
“I’ve been needing a laptop because I am a student,” Michael Powell said.
Some Black F riday shoppers at the Best Buy in La Quinta stood in line as early as 5 p.m. W ednesday to make sure they get what they are looking for. “This is the best time to get it and $200 is saving something,” Powell said. Powell stood in line since 9 p.m. W ednesday night to save $200 on a new laptop. While many other shoppers tackled their shopping list with a game plan one shopper said she just wants to see what Black F riday is about. “I’m going to the mall later on, I heard that it gets crazy so I’m kind of nervous but at the same time I’m up for it. I want to see what i can find,” Celinda Reyes said.
As stores continue to open throughout the night, shoppers are ready, to spend as little as they can on hot items they want.
