Flight attendant charged with smuggling cocaine

A former JetBlue Airways flight attendant has pleaded guilty to a federal conspiracy charge for her attempt to smuggle nearly 60 pounds of cocaine worth up to $3 million in her carry-on luggage in March.

A March 13 sentencing date is set for Marsha Gay Reynolds, who fled when she was pulled aside for a baggage search at Los Angeles International Airport.

More information from Monday’s court proceedings is expected to be released soon.
