Deputies found an abandoned Nissan Pathfinder that was stolen from the 55100 block of Airline Drive in Yucca Valley the previous night, according to the sheriff’s release.

The suspects drove away are they’re still on the run.

Deputies said they recovered about $1,500 worth of stolen tools from the abandoned Pathfinder. They didn’t release any more details about the ATV that was reported by the concerned citizen.

But the trail of stolen items didn’t stop there. The investigation revealed that a home located at 51800 Ocotillo Road had been ransacked by burglars, and a large safe containing approximately 18 firearms was also stolen. The safe and firearms haven’t been located yet.
