Several shots fired in Desert Hot Springs outside of liquor store
The Desert Hot Springs Police Department received several calls of multiple shots fired at the corner of Buena Vista and Palm Drive Wednesday at about 9 p.m.
Officers arrived and found multiple shell casings in the parking lot of a liquor store on the corner.
Police are still trying to determine if the was a drive-by or a car to car shooting.
There are no obvious signs someone was hit but the police are monitoring local hospitals to see if someone comes in with a gun shot wound.
There are bullet holes in the wall of a mini mart on the corner that are inches away from propane tanks.
Witnesses in the area tell KESQ and CBS Local 2 that they heard what sounded like two different guns being fired.
