Hydrant collison near school shoots water hundreds of feet in air

A school district truck hit a fire hydrant on Landau Blvd and Corta Road, causing water to shoot hundreds of feet of water into the air Monday morning.

The collision occurred just before 9:30 a.m. near the parking lot of the Mount San Jacinto Continuation School. Water crews were called out to assist in shutting down the water.

Nobody was hurt, and the crash is currently under investigation. School was not in session, as they had just gone on winter break Friday.
