SoCalGas natural gas advisory over

The SoCalGas advisory issued on Sunday, December 18 at 4 p.pm. has been lifted Tuesday at 11 a.m.

SoCalGas called the advisory to conserve natural gas and lower the risk of possible natural gas and electricity shortages this winter – when natural gas is in high demand.

If another SoCalGas Advisory is called, you can help Southern California conserve natural gas by:

Lowering your thermostat to 68 degrees

Waiting a day to use major natural gas appliances

Washing with cold water, when possible

If you would like to receive a text message for any future advisories, text “ADVISORY” to 39044.
