Outage leaves over 500 without power in Cathedral City
Over 500 people were left without power following an outage in Cathedral City.
According to Southern California Edison, at least 569 people in Vista Chino & Landau were affected, however some have regained power
The outage was caused by equipment problems, crews are working to restore power, it’s still not known when the power will return.
A Southern California Edison representative told KESQ News Channel 3 / CBS Local 2 that if you see a power line down, do not approach it, even if it looks dead, they are dangerous, call 911.
