Inland Empire gas price rises for 14th time in 15 days

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Thursday for the 10th consecutive day and 14th time in 15 days, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $2.79.

The average price has risen 11.3 cents over the past 15 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 7 cents higher than one week ago and 9.7 cents more than one month ago but 24.2 cents less than one year ago
