Tee times listed for 2017 Career Builder Challenge

Pro golfers participating in this year’s CareerBuilder Challenge will match up with amateurs on Wednesday for the Bob Hope Legacy Pro-Am, which pairs amateur foursomes with PGA professionals. Tournament officials released the full list of pairings and tee times on Wednesday.

Nineteen teams are slated to tee off from La Quinta’s Stadium Course at PGA West, one of three courses that will host tournament play beginning Thursday for 156 pro golfers taking part in the annual tournament, previously
known as the Bob Hope Classic.

Some of the Coachella Valley’s most recognizable TV news personalities will also be among the participants, as part of the seventh annual TV News Ancholenge, including defending champion Kris Long of CBS Local 2, John
White of KESQ, and Gino Lamont of KMIR.

The winner between the three anchors will present a $10,000 check to the charity of their choice.

Tickets to view Wednesday’s pro-am, which starts at 8:30 a.m., are $20. KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2’s Sports Department will keep you updated as the 2017 Career Builder Challenge gets underway.
