Multi car accident in Coachella shuts down Ave 52
A multi car accident on Ave 52 and Harrison in Coachella shut down Ave 52 for an hour Tuesday night.
According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, 2 vehicles were involved in a rear end collision that led to a parked vehicle being hit.
Westbound Avenue 52 was closed, but was reopened at around 9:30 p.m.
Three people were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
