Out of control vehicle collides with electric box in Palm Desert

A vehicle lost control on Cook and Hovley in Palm Desert,slamming into an electric box that controls the traffic lights.

According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at around 7 p.m. There were no injuries at the scene.

The traffic lights on the intersection were shut off by the collision, there is no timetable as to when the lights will be fixed.
