PSPD reopened N. Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs at around 5:40 p.m. Thursday. Meanwhile Araby Drive at the Wash remains closed.

Crews continue their work to reopen a few roads in the Coachella Valley following this past weekend’s storm. N. Indian Canyon Drive and Araby Drive are still closed at the wash as of Wednesday afternoon due to damage caused by rain and flooding.

Following the latest road updates from the Palm Springs Police Department via Nixle.

Officers said they reopened N. Gene Autry Trail at the wash, Cathedral Canyon Drive at the wash, and Golf Club Drive at about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Vista Chino was reopened at about 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

CLOSED: Araby Drive in Palm Springs is still closed at the wash, and Dune Palms Drive in La Quinta also remains closed at the wash as of Tuesday afternoon.

Any roads reopening at this time should help ease congestion along Ramon Road through Cathedral City and Palm Springs, which has been heavily traveled following the road closures from the weekend’s storm.

KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 will post updates when the remaining roads are back open.
