One person dead following Desert Center crash

One person is dead and two others injured following a crash in Desert Center Sunday morning. Police said a vehicle overturned just before 4 a.m. on Highway 177.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the other two victims were flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
