Indio collision closes roadway
Indio Police were cleaning up after a collision on Avenue 52 west of Jackson Street Friday morning.
Spokesman, Dan Marshall, tells KESQ News Channel 3 / CBS Local 2 News officers received a call on the crash at 5:45 a.m.
A motorist in a Nissan SUV rear-ended a slowing construction vehicle.
The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening moderate injuries.
The road was closed for approximately 2 hours for investigation and clean-up.
The driver of the construction vehicle was not injured.
