Hundreds in Coachella celebrate ‘Day of the Young Child’

People in Coachella celebrated the “Day of the Young Child” at Veteran’s Memorial park this morning. Organizer say the event was hosted to honor children under the age of six. F amilies enjoyed live entertainment put on by local organizations, educational activities, and even opportunities to meet their favorite characters. A number of vendors who specialize in childhood development attended the event to educate the community on services offered in the Valley. “We focus on making sure we are providing services. we know that data and studies have shown that it’s so critical of an age, the ages before six, to make sure that our children develop well and are successful throughout their life,” said The event was hosted in collaboration with the consortium for early learning services.
