Traffic affected on Palm Drive in DHS after 4-car crash
A four-car crash affected northbound traffic on Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs Friday afternoon. Officers said the collision happened at Camino Aventura about 10 minutes after a deadly crash from earlier in the day was cleared from the road.
Northbound lanes of Palm Drive were closed through the afternoon while crews cleared the wreckage.
There was no further information available. KESQ and CBS Local 2 is working to get more details. Police asked drivers to avoid the area Friday afternoon as northbound traffic was being detoured from the wreckage.

This is the second crash that has occurred on Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs on Friday. The first crash happened early this morning and turned out to be deadly. Moments after the road was reopened, the four-car collision happened, triggering another shutdown of northbound lanes.
