‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Kyle Richards attends Fashion Week El Paseo
Fashion Week El Paseo is here. The 12th annual event bringing thousands of people to Palm Desert for eight days of fashion.
Event sponsors kicked off the evening with a ribbon cutting and comments from the mayor of Palm Desert and El Paseo Jewelers.
Alexandra Pierce spoke to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards and her husband about why they come to fashion week year after year.
“Well, we absolutely love the desert. I’ve been coming here my entire life. We have a home here and The Agency is here, so it’s exciting,” Richards said.
Richards’ husband Maruricio Umansky recently expanded his real estate company “The Agency” to the desert.
“This is one of the most beautiful places on earth and every time I drive here and I’m about to arrive, my whole aura changes. So for me to open an office here just gives me an excuse to come here more,” Umansky said.
Guests mingled in the lounge presented by The Agency, before catching the first show of the week.
Events continue throughout the week with shows featuring the stars of “Project Runway”, the stores on El Paseo and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
