The stores on El Paseo hit the runway

From El Paseo to Everywhere. That’s the theme for Monday’s fashion show.

Trish McFarlane is the owner of BB One. She said the biggest trend you’ll see on the runway is travel pieces.

“People are really into travel-friendly clothes, and now fabrics have become so fantastic. There’s actually a collection we’re showing on Wednesday from Australia that’s called Clothes That Travel with You. And it came all the way from Australia and we took it out of the box and we didn’t even have to steam it,” McFarlane said.

You’ll see the same theme with Eileen Fisher. Each of her looks for Monday’s show represents a different place you might want to travel to.

If you have an upcoming vacation, you might want to visit Grayse once you hear how many pieces they can fit in a carry-on.

“We can actually get 45 outfits in a small carry-on so Grayse pieces travel amazingly,” said store manager Susan Stauber.

Stauber breaks down the biggest trends for the season.

“Lace is a really important one; soft, flowy fabrics. Navy is another staple spring color, also chartreuse, blue, a lot of coral, so a lot of bright colors,” Stauber said.

This year, the show is making shopping for your favorite look even easier with a lookbook for each guest with all the styles seen on the runway.
