Gas prices dip slightly in Inland Empire

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $2.994, one day after being unchanged.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.2 cents less than one week ago but 6.9 cents more than one month ago and 27 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price
Information Service.

The average price has dropped three of the last four days, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent.
