Portion of Eisenhower Medical Center evacuated due to electrical fire
Eisenhower Medical Center’s Wright Building was evacuated briefly due to an electrical fire Thursday morning. It happened inside a storage closed in the Wright Building at 11:16 a.m., according to Cal Fire.
Officials investigated and lifted the evacuation shortly after 12 p.m. Fire investigators said when they arrived they didn’t see any smoke or flames coming from the building. It turned out to be an electrical box issue.
Everyone is safe and has returned to the building now, officials told KESQ and CBS Local 2 Thursday afternoon.
