Woman arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle
Police have arrested 28 year old Zeynia Medina on suspicion of stealing a vehicle in a burglary that happened on April 1st in La Quinta.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies say Medina was the driver of the stolen Kia Sorrento during a traffic stop at Clinton Street and Green Avenue in Indio at 3:50 p.m. on Friday.
Medina was arrested and booked at the jail in Indio for driving a stolen vehicle as well as felony violation of probation.
The La Quinta Police Department will be vigilant in investigating all crimes of this nature. This investigation is ongoing and we are asking anyone with additional information to contact the Thermal Sheriff Station at 760-863-8990.
