Deputies investigate after shots fired in Coachella
The sheriff’s department is investigating a report of shots being fired in the 84500 block of Corte Alturian in Coachella. Deputies were called to the scene just before 5 p.m.
Authorities have blocked off the street which is south of Avenue 50. At this time deputies haven’t located any victims or suspects, but they are checking local hospitals as the investigation continues.
No suspect information is being released at this time. KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 will deliver updates as soon as authorities get back to us with new information.
