Man shot at a convenience store in Indio

A man was shot at a convenience store in Indio Tuesday evening, Indio police confirmed.

The shooting happened at the AMPM on Golf Center Pkwy in Indio at a little past 7:30 PM.

According to Sgt Dan Marshall of the Indio Police Department, the victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital.

Police are looking for a Hispanic male, around 20 to 25 years old. The suspect may possibly be armed with a revolver. He was last seen heading North Bound on Golf Center on foot.
