Frightening first phone call to Police after San Bernardino shooting

Police have released the first frightening phone call from North Park Elementary to police after the April 10th school shooting.

The caller remains calm and relays information to the 911 operator just after the shooting.

As a 911 operator transfers the call to school police the caller immediately identifies the shooter as Karen Smith’s husband giving a description to police.

Teacher Karen Smith and 8-year-old student Jonathan Martinez were killed in the shooting. Another student 9-year-old Nolan Brandy was injured.

What the caller didn’t know is that the shooter, Cedric Anderson had already taken his own life.
