Quakes reported near Loma Linda and Julian

The U.S. Geological Survey reported two small quakes near the Coachella Valley Friday morning.

The first was near Julian, southwest of the Coachella Valley, at 3:38 a.m.

The 3.2 magnitude quake was centered 6 miles east southeast of Julian, at a depth of 2 miles.

People reported feeling it in the direct area, and toward San Diego to the west.

A second quake measuring 3.1 in magnitude was reported a mile east southeast of Loma Linda at 7:14 a.m., at a depth of 7 miles.

No damage was reported from either quake.
