Fire at Whispering Palms Mobile Home Park

Riverside County firefighters are cleaning up after a fire at a unoccupied fire at mobile home on the 15-200 block of Palm Drive at the Whispering Palms Mobile Home Park in Desert Hot Springs on Saturday.

Fire officials say crews responded to the fire at 11:42 p.m. The first arriving engine company reported an unoccupied mobile home inside the mobile home with light smoke visible.

Firefighters quickly contained the fire shortly after arrival with assistance for traffic and crowd control by law enforcement and no injuries reported.
