Suspect detained after Palm Springs pursuit
The Palm Springs Police Department said one suspect was in custody following a stolen-vehicle pursuit on Saturday night.
An officer with the PSPD told KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 that the pursuit started around 9:40 p.m. after police tried to attempt a traffic stop in Palm Springs. The chase ended near the community of Desert Gateway at the north end of the city. A viewer told the station they saw roughly twenty police cars in the area.
