Indio Police looking for vehicle related to hit and run near Coachella Fest

Indio Police officers are on the lookout for a vehicle related to a hit and run, after a woman was hit near the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Sunday night.

Officers said they got a call around 9 p.m. about the hit and run near the intersection of Avenue 51 and Monroe Street.

They said the woman was taken to a local hospital after suffering moderate injuries.

Officers said the suspect’s vehicle is a white, newer model Toyota Tacoma with a TRD package. They said the truck has front end damage and a missing emblem.

The truck was last seen heading westbound on Avenue 52.
