Van hits light pole after driver suffers medical issue behind the wheel
A driver lost control and hit a pole after suffering a medical issue behind the wheel in Palm Springs.
The accident happened on W San Rafael Dr near the entrance of Palm Springs Villas 2 at around 5:30 PM. Police say a female driver was heading Westbound on Racquet Club when she suffered an unknown medical that caused her to lose control and crash into a light pole.
According to Palm Springs police, the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment of their medical issue.
Police are looking for the driver’s husky who was in the van when the accident happened and ran off when the car came to a halt.
