Man arrested on suspicion of driving under influence after crash
A man is in jail on suspicion of driving under influence of alcohol after he crashed into a parked car in La Quinta.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies say 30-year-old Juan Escobedo of La Quinta crashed in to a parked car near the intersection of Avenida Montezuma and Calle Sonora on Saturday at 1:30 a.m.
Sheriff’s Deputies say Escobedo was suffered minor injuries from the crash, and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after being medically cleared at a local hospital.
Escobedo was booked at the Riverside County Jail in Indio on charges of DUI.
