One person in the hospital following hit and run in Desert Hot Springs

A person is in the hospital after a hit and run in Desert Hot Springs.

It happened Saturday just after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Dillon Road and Western Avenue. The California Highway Patrol said one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
