La Serena Villas newest hotel to open on Belardo Road
Spread across 1 acre in the heart of Palm Springs sits La Serena Villas, the newest boutique hotel on Belardo Road.
“Originally this property was built in 1933 and sat many years undeveloped. It was a wonderful undertaking for them to take their original heritage of this property and restore it to its Spanish luster and glory,” said general manager Olivia Prescott.
The property is centered around serenity and natural elements. Each of the 18 rooms and villas features a private patio with a fire or water element. But that’s not all the hotel features.
“We have a beautiful curated boutique, we offer a restaurant, a bar, a rooftop deck. We are hoping to open to the public three nights a week with the restaurant, that is the plan. We have a spa where guests are welcome to join from the outside,” Prescott said.
The hotel hot spot seeing a resurgence of sorts.
“Belardo Road has certainly seen a revitalization and this is very much a large part of that. I think everyone wants an intimate curated personalized experience,” Prescott said.
From the relaxing pool, to the Frida Kahlo inspired dining room, La Serena Villas is one of a kind.
