Desert Trip 2 will not be happening in 2017
Billboard Magazine is reporting that Desert Trip 2 will not be happening in 2017.
“We loved 2016 Desert Trip,” Goldenvoice’s Paul Tollett tells Billboard. “Maybe someday in the future we’ll do something similar.”

The rumors had been swirling over whether the newest music festival in the desert would be returning for a second run in 2017. According to Billboard, Goldenvoice officials said, “We’re not doing Desert Trip this year.”
The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who headlined last year’s festival. The festival grossed $160M over the two weekends in 2016.
