Three people injured in early morning crash

Three people are in the hospital after a crash involving two cars in Indio Saturday morning.

The crash happened at 2:06 a.m. near the intersection of Indio Boulevard and Sun Gold Street.

Both the condition of the victims and the cause of the crash is not known.
