Crews battle 20-acre fire burning in Morongo Valley

Firefighters are battling a 20-acre fire in the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve in San Bernardino County.

KESQ and CBS Local 2 viewers from Desert Hot Springs have been calling our newsroom Monday morning with reports of seeing smoke over the valley. We have a crew in Morongo Valley gathering more information about the fire.

We’ll deliver updates as firefighters continue to work on containing the fire.
