Family of woman killed in La Quinta crash pleading for answers

The family of a woman who was left for dead in a Memorial Day rollover crash is looking for answers.

They identified the victim as 34-year-old Michelle Manriquez of Indio. They say she was a passenger in the car, but they still don’t know who was driving.

The vehicle crashed into the center median and rolled over on Highway 111 between Dune Palms and Adams.

Witnesses told police the driver took off after the crash.

Authorities say they believe the car had been traveling at a high rate of speed.

Police have not released any new information on the driver, we do not know if an arrest has been made.

Manriquez’ family is hoping the pictures of their loved one will help lead to new information about the driver.
