Stores on El Paseo share Father’s Day gift ideas

Father’s Day is right around the corner, have you gotten your dad a gift yet? Whether your dad is a refined gentleman or a rugged adventurer, Alexandra Pierce has gift ideas for every type of dad on your list.

Brooke’s Brothers is celebrating dads with some deals.

“This year we’re promoting our polos, our golden fleece polos, which are 2 for $119 or a box set of 7 for $350,” said John Knapp manager at Brooks Brothers.

From accessories to fragrances, the store offers lots of options. And if you want to make your gift more personal they offer custom monogramming.

“We also offer a made to measure business and monogramming. With our made-to-measure, they wouldn’t be completed in time for dad, but you can at least pick out the item, the fabric, the finishing and pick it up at a later date. Monogramming can be done on almost any item,” Knapp said.

The store’s semi annual sale starts Friday.

One thing all men need, shoes. Clark’s shares three different types of shoes for dads.

First up the casual dad shoe, also known as the “Cloudstepper”.

“Its a super cushiony foot bed and it’s a synthetic material but super light weight and really great for the summer heat,” said Tammi Caudill the store manager.

Moving on to those trendy dads out there. Caudill recommends the Desert Boot.

“The desert boot is known for it’s crepe sole. It’s a super soft sole and inside the foot bed your feet end up molding to your feet. It’s a great comfortable boot,” Caudill said.

Last up, the every guy’s sandal, great for a night on the town.

“Its really nice cause it has some coverage on the toe. So if our dads didn’t get their pedicure yet it it really looks nice all the time,” Caudill said.

So whether your dad is a tie guy or a laid back casual dude, there’s something for everyone at the Gardens on El Paseo.
