2 show up to Desert Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds
Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs was placed on lockdown Thursday night after two people showed up to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to Commander Jim Henson with the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
The hospital was placed on lockdown at a little before 9:50 p.m., the lockdown was removed nearly 20 minutes later at about 10:10 p.m., according to a D.R.M.C. representative.
“Officers could not locate the spot where the shooting took place,” Henson said. “A report was taken and will be forwarded to detectives for follow up,” he added.
