Pougnet, Meaney & Wessman arraignment delayed until Oct. 6
The suspects accused in the Scandal At City Hall in Palm Springs were back in Indio court Friday morning at the Larson Justice Center. The proceedings were moved back to Indio after the suspect’s most recently appeared in court at the Riverside Hall of Justice in Riverside. But now, their arraignment has been delayed until October 6.

Former mayor of Palm Springs Steve Pougnet and local developers Richard Meaney and John Wessman are facing public corruption and bribery charges after FBI agents raided Palm Springs City Hall on September 1, 2015. It will be nearly two years after the raid when the defendants are expected to be arraigned.
John Hall with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office said, “Due to various schedules of all the attorneys and the court, the Oct. 6 date is the first date available for all those involved.”
