Roads are back open after a crash caused major backup for traffic in both directions on I-10. The crash happened west of Cook Street at about 1:40 p.m. According to Joe Galli with KESQ and CBS Local 2, traffic was backed up all the way to Monterey Avenue.

A two-car crash sent at least one of the vehicles through the center divider, blocking lanes on both sides of the freeway

According to Joe Galli, a pickup truck carrying a jet ski flipped over on Eastbound I-10 for an unknown reason, the truck landed on its side after striking the guard rail.

Debris from the crash spilled onto the Westbound lanes causing several cars to strike the items. CHP had to shut down the entire freeway to clear the debris and cars involved.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash.
