Horseshoe tossing champ from La Quinta competes in World Horsehoe Tournament

A 19-year-old La Quinta man is undefeated in horseshoes, and now he’s taking his talent to St. George Utah as he competes in the World Horseshoe Tournament this week.

Aaron Tarango is representing the ‘Coachella Valley Ringerz’ in the ‘Men E1 Division’ and is currently undefeated. According to the tournament schedule, Tarango plays in the championship round on Saturday.

The St. George Tourism Office estimates the tournament hosts about 1,200 horseshoe competitors.
