Former PDHS football standout DJ Alexander traded to Seahawks

2016 Pro Bowler DJ Alexander was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on Friday after playing two full seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Alexander appeared in all 32 games for the Chiefs in those two seasons, leading the team in special teams tackles with 23. He also earned AFC Special Teams Player of the week honors in 20-15.

The 25-year-old Alexander was drafted in the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Chiefs out of Oregon State. He now returns to the pacific Northwest with the trade to Seattle.
