2015 Angels 1st round pick and former Shadow Hills baseball standout on the way up

Taylor Ward was a former baseball stand out at Shadow Hills High School and after a college career at Fresno State he was drafted in the 1st round (26th pick) by the LA Angels back in 2015. After moving his way up from “Rookie Ball” to “Single-A” with the Inland Empire 66ers, he now is on the rise again at Double-A with the Mobile Bay Bears. 12-games in the catcher is batting .342 with an on base percentage at .500 and their is a slight chance he could hear his named called for September Angel call ups.
