Police search home, but find no one inside
Desert Hot Springs Police responded to the 16000 block of Via Corto West around 10:00 p.m. Friday. It’s right near Dillon Rd. and Palm Dr. in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs.
It’s the same area were a man was found dead in a home Thursday evening. Police were using a loud speaker to try to get someone inside the home to come out.
Police told nearby residents they were searching for a possible suspect. There is currently no active threat to public safety.
Police and sheriffs deputies made entry into the building a little after midnight and found that no one was inside the home.
